Founder and Owner Dick Platfoot has over 35 years of experience in the manufacturing of electronics. His extensive knowledge and expertise have helped Platfoot start his own business that meets our country's ever-changing needs. What began in 1995 as a modest one-room operation under the name of Platfoot Manufacturing has grown into a thriving business with ever-expanding capabilities and services. Twenty-five years later, Buckeye Electrical maintains and embraces the time-honored dedication, professionalism, and commitment of its humble beginnings.

In 2014, Kevin Platfoot joined the team at Buckeye Electrical as a Sales Representative, then later took on the role as Vice President. Kevin's degree in Business Management has allowed Buckeye Electrical to grow ten-fold and add even more capabilities to the company.

At the start of 2020, Dick Platfoot announced his retirement, though he remains the Owner and can still be found on the production floor, helping the product and development team on new projects. Kevin Platfoot took over as as President and will continue to oversee operations and business development.
